Album Info:
I will occasionally take a road trip to the Plains states in the spring to indulge in two of my hobbies, storm chasing and railfanning. While my trips so far haven't been very successful on either count, here's what I have seen pertaining to the latter activity.

Visible between them is a hopper bearing a familiar set of reporting marks. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since the former Central Kansas Railway is now the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad, which like my hometown regional WSOR is owned by Watco.

CVR (Cimarron Valley Railroad) 5102
Description:
Showing the markings of prior owner Southwestern Railroad (the "CVR" patch that was on the cab as recently as 2019 per others' photos is gone), in the paint applied during Austin Western ownership. Built as Chicago & North Western 7015, a long way from any former C&NW lines!
