Album Info:James Madison's Campus is very beautiful and very well kept! The vantage points for viewing the daily train passes have diminished alot since my days there in the 80's. This is mostly due to growth, of both new buildings and trees. Many trees that were 5-7' tall then are now 20-25' now. This spot however remains good and is located at the west side of Godwin Hall's parking lot.

Description:  After about a 20 min. rest, what I believe is 55T resumes her last short stretch to the yard. I'm not sure of why they stopped because the yard was clear when I left there? I'm sure of one thing.......a pocket scanner is long over due!

Description:  When I was a kid I remember coal hoppers parked along this old steam plant, built of Blue Stone which serviced Madison College in 1909. As far as I know, the plant still serves its orgional function but not with coal.

Description:  JMU's Gibbon's Hall sits on top of the hill; JMU's main dinning hall..a.k.a."D-Hall". A completely round building divided into sections that serve different fares. The kitchen is in the center so as able to access all sections. Down stairs houses the bakery, meat and veg. prep areas as well as cold, frozen and dry storage.
