ST52 |
Description: |
Idling contentedly in the rain, ST 51 and ST 52 in new Maine Central "heritage" paint await more work. The scene represents a changing scene on Pan Am railways. The leading russel plow is in original Maine Central green, and makes a nice comparison with ST 52 on of 2 heritage units done so far by Pan Am. ST 51 marks the dark years of New England railroading in tattered G gray, and the trailing plow, off camera is the new image, Pan Am. |

ST52 |
Description: |
ST 51 and 52 sit bit the yard office in Waterville. This was the only angle to get, as the plow (MEC M76 if memory serves) was placed strategically between publicly accessible land and a clean and shining 52. |

ST52 |
Description: |
Hidden behind a couple of Maine Central Russel Plows, one still in tattered green, ST52 sits in the rain idling contentedly with ST51 seemingly oblivious to the rain and gray skies. Even the rain and cold couldn't keep 52 from shining! |
