Description:
BN U23C 5205 at Cicero, Illinois in May 1981, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Number 5205 was built as CB&Q U23C 465 in April 1969 (c/n 36993), became BN 5205 sometime after the March 2, 1970 merger, and was retired by the BN in June 1984, although it is pictured here with the exhaust stack covered in a line of dead U23C's a few years before the official retirement date.
