GWR 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 6879 "Overton Grange" at Snow Hill Station Platform 4. Note the sad state of the loco, missing its name plate and GWR cast brass numbers. It was to be withdrawn in October this year.
Description:
GWR 4-6-0 6879 "Overton Grange" at Snow Hill Station. Already looking neglted it was withdrawn October 1965. Sadly no Grange Class locomotives made it to preservation, all meeting the fate of the cutters torch.
