Everyday. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, c. 1965. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9376, an ES-12 switcher built by GM-EMD in May of 1950 and rated at 1,200 horsepower. In this context, it's parked at the east end of the PRR's Samuel Rea Shop, awaiting further action. "Bald Hill" dominates the distance. |
