BN 24 duplex roomette-8 double roomette (24DXR-8DRM) Slumbercoach #333. Built by Budd in December 1959 in Lot #9691-090 to Pullman Plan #9540 as NYC #10800 [no name], sold in November 1964 to NP as #333 LOCH TAY, to BN #333 [name removed], planned to be renumbered as #1488 [which was not applied], sold to Amtrak in 1971 as #2031, converted to head end power (HEP) in 1981 as #2089 [name reapplied], retired in 1995 and sold to Colorado Railcar, which planned to use it as a crew dormitory on the MARLBORO UNLIMITED, stored at their facility in Denver after the MARLBORO project was cancelled, was recently listed for sale on Ozark Mountain Railcar. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a 35mm slide, brand is unknown. Date is unknown. |
