| EMD built this loco in 3/1951 originally as Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway GP7 #724 but was absorbed into the L&N roster as LN GP7 1724. The loco then had some number and roster changes due to mergers. NCStL 724 > LN 1724 > LN 2349 > SBD 2349. An unknown rail fan took this photo. |
