I *think* that unit spent some nime on the Western Maryland Scenic and wore WM paint for a while. I always wondered what happened to it. I think this was the C&O 5940, originally, but don't quote me on that!

I have photos of this unit painted in New Haven colors from early 2000; this is what's left. A local shopkeeper told me it was done for a Stephen King movie, although I don't recall which one.

Serial Number is 20849. Matt Adams is right, was C&0 5949 then WM 5940 and then WMSR 40.
