The little white sign says: 'LAGRANGE CHIP RELOAD'. The train is slowing down and will back the wood chip cars onto this siding. There is a gradeall sort of scoop on the traveling device over the siding. Here the cars will be scooped out and the chips will be trucked to Great Works just south of Old Town. For some reason these cars are not taken to NMJ, interchanged with PAR and unloaded at G.W. directly..... |
