BNSF 1515, close up of rear pilot  Contributor's Pick!
This close-in view of BNSF 1515's rear "pilot" shows six hoses or cables, including the air hose. You can also see the extra or spare knuckle in the "pocket" on the endpiece. There may be one on the other side but I couldn't see it from this angle. I don't know the significance of the "3 POINT" decal or sticker near the edge of the steps near the walkway. FRANK SHIMKETS General I believe the "3 POINT" decal refers to when someone is climbing aboard, they must have a 3 point contact with the steps/handrails. Ex:2 hands/1 foot or 1 hand/2 feet when climbing. Safety first! 11/6/2011 1:25:36 AM
