GUTHRIE OK March 26 1979 -- Santa Fe CF7 2455 handles switching duties in this one-time capital of Oklahoma. The crew has tied it up just south of the station. EMD built this unit (s/n 13787) in May 1951 as F7A 252L and delivered it in blue with cream and vermillion trim paint. On June 7 1977 the Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it as a CF7 in blue with yellow warbonnet and renumbered it 2455. It was retired in early 1982, sold to Southwestern Rail Car Parts in January 1983 and scrapped.
