The train stopped just short of the Little Hoosac tunnel. I'm on the Route 2 overpass, which is essentially the west portal of the short tunnel just before North Adams Yard. Why they were held here on the main rather than being allowed to proceed another quarter mile forward into the unoccupied yard was a puzzlement to me. |
