Two 2GS14Bs are at work moving gondolas of scrap metal at the Gerdau Steel Mill in Midlothian. After a year of service 2287 sustained damaged to the pilot face and stepwell and has been repainted without the yellow stripes as delivered. 2286 is wrapped in red tape to block off the rear stepwell due to a missing handrail. The life of a steel mill locomotive is tough. |
