No need for this striking Northern Pacific ABA set to stop at the massive coaling tower that it is gliding under with its long string of varnish. Built by EMD and delivered in September of 1949, this unit served NP faithfully and fransitioned into the Amtrak roster later. No photographer listed for this nice photo nor any date given so it is an approximation. The location was identified by the massive coaling tower located in the Missoula yard. |
