Milwaukee Road Depot in Tomah
Some sources state this former Milwaukee Road depot dates from 1903, others only state "early 1900's". The station is still a stop for the Amtrak Empire Builder along the route of the famed Hiawatha which ran 410 miles between Chicago and St. Paul on a 6.5 hour schedule. The steam locomotive powered Hiawatha sustained speeds of 100 miles per hour.
