| NS 6939 and company work the west end of the East Decatur Yard here in Decatur, Illinois as they double up their train (Train 311) before heading to St. Louis, Missouri (Luther Yard). 311 is a newer symbol to the area after they eliminated the 301/302 daily freights between Brush Yard (Decatur, IL) and A.O. Smith Yard (Granite City, IL). Now the 311/308 trains run from Decatur to St. Louis (Luther Yard). |
