| is a local landmark for a local legand who died years ago. Shirts was a businessman who went back to the office one day during lunch because he forgot something and was shot by a robber there. He was paralyzed and in a wheelchair but loved the RF&P. When the trains would come by, he'd wave lights at the caboose's to let them know no defects. The RF&P used to stop a train here at christmas time and the crews would give him presents. |
