| Description: |
On display at a restaurant. CCC #1 was built for Continental Can and used at its Chicago plant. It later ended up at Penwalt Chemicals in Riverview, Michigan. In 1987 the locomotive was sold to the Sweetline Railroad in Carson City, Michigan where it had an extremely brief operating stint. It sat abandoned there for close to 15 years before being moved to Caro in 2000. |

CEIX 0-8-0 F #6 - Cleveland Electric Co |
| Description: |
This fireless steam switcher was built by Heisler in 1937. It was used in Ashtabula, OH by the Cleveland Illuminating Co. until 1973. Only 30 were built and approximately six survive. This is the museum’s only steam locomotive. It was restored to operation to run on compressed air in the summer of 2002. The exterior was re-painted in 2013. It’s the only operating fireless steam locomotive in North America. |

| Description: |
RRMP. Here is an original photo that I took at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on 30 June 1973. Shown here is Pennsylvania Power and Light Company engine #4094, an 0-8-0 switcher built by the Heisler Locomotive Works during 1940. According to the RRMP, "1940 Heisler locomotive No. 4094 [is] one of the very few shrouded, streamlined, fireless engines ever built. The Art Deco-inspired No. 4094 was returned to her original livery of midnight blue and silver, courtesy of a complete cosmetic restoration by Museum volunteers and staff." |

PPLX 0-8-0F #4094D - Pennsylvania Power & Light Company |
| Description: |
Beautifully restored but sitting outside the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is Pennsylvania Power & Light Company 0-8-0 "fireless" #4094D locomotive. This streamlinded 0-8-0 fireless steam locomotive was built in 1939 by Heisler Locomotive Works. As the largest fireless locomotive ever produced (190,000 lbs), it was designed for industrial switching with no firebox, using steam stored in a tank from a stationary boiler. Built in 1939 for the 1940 New York World's Fair, it featured a distinctive Art Deco shrouded, streamlined design. Originally sold to Hammermill Paper Company, its weight was too heavy for their tracks. It was sold to PPL in 1941, renumbered 4094-D, and worked at the Hauto, PA, power plant until 1969. It could operate for up to five hours on a single charge of steam and superheated water. It was donated in 1969 to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, where it has undergone restoration to its original sky-blue livery. Hoosier rail fan Mark Stanek took this photo while on a visit there and it's now in my private rr collection. |
