One of the rarer pieces of rolling stock is this Chicago, South Shore & South Bend baggage/freight combo car. Built 1925 by St. Louis Car Company, it had Baldwin trucks. A rail fan known only as "BH" took this photo sometime in the late 1970's at the Michigan City shops area. |
