Western Ohio Rail Authority gave the depot to the city of St. Marys to relocate and renovate. Was to be moved to a vacant lot at 202 W. South Street. A gas station is now located at 202 W. South Street. City of St. Marys was raising money for this project, but donations came to a stop due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. City had half the money raised. Instead of waiting for donations to resume, the city decided to tear down the depot. |
