SRT 1195
Title:  SRT 1195
Description:  Last car in the Excursion train. An SRT employee watches from the vestibule. Hay bales serve as 'steps' between stairwell and ballast. Mrs. Sarnt says that since last year's service SRT has stepped up passenger safety, indeed, we noticed at every car cheerful and service minded staff present to guide and assist passengers. The red circle probably serves the same purpose as a FRED device.

A Speeder, a Bobber, and a Cement Hopper..
Title:  A Speeder, a Bobber, and a Cement Hopper..
Description:  In front of Hin Lap station I found this priceless view of what could easily be a model setup in 1:1 scale! The little caboose is on the tail end of the train 4519 has now aired up and will shortly commence rolling..After getting the photo I then noticed a brakeman sitting just inside the door. While Hin Lap's speeder is at the ready cement hopper 444071 sits in the background.

Title:  SRT 50013KKJ
Description:  Have seen these on several occasions and finally 'nabbed one! Fortunately Cabooses are still in frequent use in Thailand, here is a standard SRT type, class 'BBV' (Bogie, Brake Van) no. 50013. They are approximately 40' over couplers and feature an unmistakable combination bay window/cupola desighn. This one was on the end of an LNG tanker train of about 20 cars, at Kang Khoi Junction in Saraburi Province. [Km. post 125 from Bangkok, obviously!] That's quite an air reserviour under there, too!

SRT 150109PHY
Title:  SRT 150109PHY
Description:  A good look at one of SRT's diminuitive European type wagon top box cars, now officially sidelined in 'company service'. This one has SRT report marks both in thai and the old name for the SRT, or, R.S.R. [Royal State Railways {of Siam} ]. There are a great many of these defunct cars to be found all over SRT property as they're perfect storage sheds. As with US roads, there are almost no boxcars still in service, and those I've seen are very few and of a longer, more modern 2 truck type.

This was the best angle i could get here, the stations boundary wall at my shoulder.
