Rock Island headed for El Paso
Description:
It's 2PM in the desert as four Rock Island units (GP40 4715, U28B 252, GP40s 391, 388) lead a train towards El Paso on the SP Golden State Route. Trailing behind is a typical '70s era freight train, with box cars, refrigerator cars, some tank cars and a couple of open-sided auto racks.
