Description:  I guess PSAP is experimenting with Remote Remote COntrol equipment, even though this train had a 2 man crew. Looks really really nice, uhh, yeah, nice. At least this one doesnt have graffiti on it. original intent was to chase this train west, but an MRL F45 was supposed to be a Longview Junction, so I went hauling ass down there to not see it. Grrr.

FOXY Leases
Title:  FOXY Leases

A former CNW yard, I believe these units are staged here awaiting the opening day of Watcos Fox Valley and Lake Superior Rail System (FOXY) operations of two (among others in northeast and central Wisconsin) soon to be former CN branch lines. EDIT 01/30/2022: HLCX 3885 and FURX 5551 are actually assigned to the WATCO's Grand Elk Railroad's new Upper Peninsula Division and were here awaiting transport north.

Title:  CN 9673, CN 9574 and HLCX 3841
Description:  A CN train passes the FV&LS (or FOXY), former CN, originally C&NW, depot as it prepares to set out cars at Appleton Junction, WI, on 31 Dec. '23. The train continued on to Little Chute and Kaukauna. There used to be a diamond right about where the rear truck of the trailing locomotive rests, from ca. 1874 until at least 1968, where the MLS&W crossed the C&NW. When the MLS&W was absorbed by the C&NW on 1 Sep. 1893, their line became the Ashland Div. of the C&NW. The white building partially visible in the background is the former home of the Harry H. Long Moving and Storage Co., 1001 S. Douglas St. This building dates to at least 1953, when it was listed in the local directory (it was not listed in ’51). The building has a spur, but it hasn’t been used for quite a while (except for occasional MoW equipment). Now called Harry H. Long Moving Storage & Express, Inc., the company, founded in 1917, is still family owned. It moved to a larger facility in Town of Clayton, Winnebago Co., WI in 2001. I thought I left enough room to capture all three locomotives in the scene. I was mistaken.
