Title:  ACR GP40 locomotives reverse ends on the "Snow Train"
Description:  The Algoma Central Railway two GP40 locomotives, #3027 and #3026 painted in ACR colors reverse ends on the "Snow Train" passenger train near Agawa Canyon, Ontario preparing to head back to Sault Ste. Marie, February 4th, 1995. Every Winter, the train runs the round trip on weekends. Wisconsin Central purchased ACR on February 1st, 1995. ACR locomotive numbers were soon changed and Wisconsin Central Limited shields were applied to all engines. This was my 1st time riding Algoma Central! It was only 3 days after WC bought them! I dont mind the shields, its something on the nose (better than nothing like it was before)! Description:  Talk about being at the right and wrong place at the right and just as well wrong time as WC 3027 splits the switch with the conductor looking upon the photographdr as he takes a photo as it happens. A bad switch equals to a bad time and quite the bill and delay on returning back home for these$guys and the railroad. (Exact Date Unknown 1998)

Description:  The WC 10th Anniversary Locomotive heads UP train LSI55 01 past UP Hoxie Sub. North Dexter. We ended up with about 2 inches of snow, and it looked a little more like Wisconsisn here in SEMO. This unit was assigned to Poplar Bluff for basically 3 months repaying horsepower hours to the UP.

This unit started life as CRIP 4339 in November of 1976, and became MP 2277, then UP 2277, and now it's UP 777 and sitting with WC 3027 on second home rails.
