St Louis, Southwestern Railway Long Caboose 2305
Known as a "Long Caboose" on the Cotton Belt. Probably used for mixed train service. Seen at the Valley Railroad in Essex, Connecticut, 1 July 1987, the 2305 was owned by the Railroad Museum of New England. Received word 10 April 2011, the 2305 will be leaving New England within a couple of months to a new owner. Latest news as of 9 July 2011, the new owner is Mr. Gary Powell. The SSW 2305 is in the process of being prepared for road movement from Old Saybrook, CT to Texas where some say it belongs.
