ex-Monon track         
Former Monon abandoned main line with an old crossing gate that still stands guard. The cossing gate made out of wood and a wire holding it mn the upright possition says this line has been o/s for a long time

Jamie Joyce General I remember when I was 5 or 6 back in the late 70's when I was walking to nearby Eggers School when I caught a Chessie locomotive running light to downtown on this line. That was the first and last time I ever saw anything run on this line. 3/17/2006 7:51:43 PM
